About Verification and the Trust Score
Why verify your Hello Pal and Travel Pal account?
Verify your account to use more app features, and to have more friends find you and chat with you.
This is especially important for our Travel Pal app, for the safety of all travelers and hosts.
LOW
Upload only 1 avatar |
Start only up to 5 new chats |

ID
- Upload a photo of your ID
- Upload a photo of you with your ID
- Go to Settings > Account Management > Trust & Verification
- Press the Verify Email button
- Click on a link sent to your email
MOBILE
- Go to Settings > Account Management
- Make sure you have added your mobile number
- Send an SMS – Once you receive the SMS on your mobile, your account will automatically be verified
To achieve a “Perfect” trust level, ALL ITEMS MUST BE VERIFIED (ID, Email and Mobile). Please refer to the table below to learn how to achieve a higher trust score.
